Zombie

My character is not actually a zombie, but that’s how I was described by the grandson of another cast member, and it seems to have stuck!
I took this selfie at the end of this afternoon’s performance and now have a couple of hours rest before the evening show. Could be touch and go as to whether or not my voice lasts until the end of the night, but I’m taking plenty of fluids and only have a few lines in the first act anyway.
Actually, given how I’m feeling at the moment, I’m not sure how much is makeup in the picture and how much is my natural pallor!
Still, only tonight and tomorrow afternoon to get through before three nights off. Here’s hoping I will be fighting fit again by the time we start the second half of the run.
