A cultural misunderstanding at the hairdresser. Haircut was all fine until the end when I was asked if I wanted a brush. The question confused me until I was shown where the hairdryer was. So drying your own hair in the hairdresser is a thing! I'm terrible at this so did my best. On the way out I saw another woman doing the same thing. I made a new appointment but with drying.

In my latest German class I am learning about how the law enshrines human rights values as a key set of legal principles.I feel like I have to fill in some gaps of my German cultural knowledge. The current teacher is very left wing which is notable because the others didn't touch on politics at all. It will be part of this course so I will be able to spot the German Tory party and avoid.
