Darkness Looms!

Another day, another soaking!! The forecast said heavy rain from 7pm so I thought my early Friday finish would be perfect for avoiding any such downpours. How wrong was I! Within ten minutes of heading out the heavens opened and they've not yet closed!!

However, I did manage to walk, at speed, up one of my favourite roads, Old Guy Road, which you can only do when you've got a little bit of light. I just made it to the top before black skies took over.

In other news, a little boy told me today that my perfume on my scarf was exquisite. Amazing word for a 6 year old and quite the comment to make too!
