Icy Start!

An extremely frosty world awaited this morning with puddles turned to ice and every outdoor surface turned white by the fingers of Jack Frost.

There has been strong winds and torrential sleet for much of the day. Although I will say it felt warmer outside when strolling than inside my classroom with all the windows open, and no heating permitted! It's all about layers, and plenty of them. :-)

I wonder what colour the world will be tomorrow morning...!
