Jodrell Bank

We took Joe to the visitor centre at Jodrell Bank today. We only live 10 miles away but we’ve never been before. It’s one of the biggest radio telescopes in the world. The inventor, Bernard Lovell, ran out of money in the 1950’s but when Russia launched Sputnik1 it was the only one that could track it. They soon got funding after that. I’ve put some photos in extras, one of them is Joe ‘being an astronaut’.
