tracks to nowhere

I've crossed these tracks for years on my way home from work, & today, for the first time, I actually looked at them--I mean REALLY looked at them ! And I finally realized why I'd never had to stop at the railroad crossing in all those years!! The track to the right is all torn up, & to the left, which is what I photographed, is all rusted & obviously un-used! Wonder how long it's been like that........Blipping once a day has helped me notice things I'd never noticed before--goes to show how a person can just run on autopilot & not pay attention! (Now, my husband might be tempted to say I do that a lot, but of course it wouldn't be true!! Ha!)
