..workers Union was fortunately not on strike today. Several delays though and we had to change at Earls Court, but not a problem.

My eye test at our optician in Kensington was overdue and I wanted to keep the appointment despite rail strikes all week. We took the car to Forest Hill and the good old faithful 185 bus to Victoria. An hours journey but in the front seats upstairs is the place to be and there was lots to see. And then everything in reverse to get home.

No need to change my prescription and my reading glasses are doing fine. I will have a second eye scan though in March, to monitor something.
