Bring it on, baby

In the pictured container are 4L of Peglytes, which, when combined with the prescribed quantity of Ducolax, will coat my colon with a viscous oil and cause me to void my bowels rather rapidly, several times. Probably many more. It tastes like sweetened motor oil and is, I am afraid, sickeningly efficient. It is still 20 times more palatable than Liverpool's abysmal away form.

I have the colonoscopy tomorrow evening - purely routine - and so have to drink two litres tonight and two litres tomorrow, and to have fasted in between. Happy New Year everyone :)
