Back in the workshop…

Hi Everyone,

Got to the workshop today and my newly reclaimed parking space was available, which was very nice. Lit the sawdust burner and made a coffee before starting work on the Giant Halfway again (bike pictured). Like me the Halfway is on a weight loss program and I spend around 4 hours removing two lugs which are not needed. There is quite a lot more to do so the job will run on quite a bit.

Once home I jumped on the turbos and did a 10 minute ride on my road bike… the plan is to ride each day if possible and increase the time by a minute each day until I get to 30 minutes. Having less of a tummy made it a little more comfortable on the bike although I could not ride on the road as I cannot reach the brake levers.

My mate seemed to like the mug I got him. Tomorrow I will also take the fixed wheel bike into the workshop in readiness for some work to be done.

I would like to have the halfway and fixed wheel bike both done before my hospital appointment on the 8th Feb.
