Fishes

We went out to buy tarot cards but came back with 4 African fish puppets, a pair of leather boots and disintegrating earrings.

Isaac spotted the first fish high up on a shelf in Danielthemusicman's brocante.  He nudged me and said it was a bit me.  Then he saw the white one and another red one and a blue one.  Being unable to decide which one I should buy, I came out with the four of them which put me back a pretty penny and didn't please Nico in these times of austerity.
Over a gin and tonic for me and hot chocolates for my raggedly crowd of non deciders on the terrasse of la Maison des Consuls, the boys did some googling and found out that the fish come from a tribe in Mali who use the fish to tell stories about the village folks without getting into libelous deep water.
My eye's on the one I left behind...a 1 metre stickleback worth 200 bucks.
