Christmassy Trip to Edinburgh

Conor in particular was very excited to be going to Edinburgh to see the Christmas market. We parked at Waverley and walked up Cockburn Street and the Royal Mile to the Castle then down Victoria Street. Then round the Castle to Waterstones where we did some Christmas shopping. 

Whilst in Waterstones, Mum received a call from Antonia who had Orla's Grade 6 LAMDA exam results. Here's a video of her immediate reaction.

We then walked through the Christmas market and got Orla her waffle as a prize for doing so well. Conor preferred a hot dog.

We had intended to get the train, but instead drove because of the train strikes and the risk of getting Covid again. The other consideration of course is the carbon footprint. Some major current issues went into this choice of transport!
