Starting with rest...

Danny was up and out very early to catch flight 1 of 2 to get back to the UK for his final week of study for his Masters. Nate was overwhelmed with sadness at Danny going, bless him. We had a slow morning playing (more) board games and that helped Nate cheer up. It also helped when we packed a picnic and headed to he beach for the afternoon. Good fun playing Bananagrams with Asha and digging holes with Nate...Charlie then joined us and Sam and Anna happened upon us! So it was a more sociable afternoon than planned!
Home for a bit of mince pie making, more Bananagrams, dinner and supposedly (didn't work) an early night for the kids.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Starting the Bible in a Year challenge with a fellow blipper and friend of hers! Really looking forward to it.
2) Starting the year in a restful way, feels Biblical, ha!
3) Danny arriving in the UK safely, albeit with an achy achilles.
