Oh deer…….

…….standing on the shoulder of the hill behind which the sun had just disappeared. What I hadn’t noticed was that there was another deer keeping its head down behind the one that was posing beautifully so it missed having its photo taken. Shortly afterwards, the two wandered off together into the sunset.
This last day of 2022 was a beauty. After quite a hard frost, we had a wonderful clear blue sky and the sun shone all day long. We said goodbye to 2022 with friends J and J (Wanderers13), sharing a meal of roast venison and a wide selection of vegetables, finishing with Hot Toddy Soufflés. Champagne and cocktails were also consumed.
