Out with the old….

On the last day of 2022 a few photos to round off the year.

The main one is last year’s fruit being replaced by the new growth. As one of the other photos shows the bulbs are also beginning to peek their leaves above the soil.

Spring seems to have started early as a couple of pigeons were getting amorous - and attracted the interest of our new neighbour’s cat. Despite their focus on each other the pigeons kept a look out and stayed far enough away.

The final photo is of one of our more “modern” tree ornaments. From 20 years ago from a trip to Florida. Not very Christmassy but it does remind us of the time we saw a space shuttle launch. Happy memories. Let’s hope 2023 generates similar ones.
