Tay Road Bridge

When we were in Johnshaven earlier in the year, we decided we'd like to come back for the new year, so until now this little break has been lurking on the far side of Christmas, a little treat every time I thought of it.

We got away in good time this morning, stopping, as usual, at Tebay services for coffee and a bit of breakfast. At Carlise we turned off onto the A7, taking that as far as the Edinburgh ring road, and then traversing the Forth on the Queensferry Crossing.

From there it was up through Dundee and onto the A90, reaching Johnshaven just as the sun was setting.

My Blip was taken as we crossed the River Tay, with the Minx at the wheel, both feeling happy and carefree.
