New Year's Eve

Today we had the little family, including J's young sister, over for lunch. That's them in the photo with Margot. 

Poor little Margot is getting a tooth and despite her discomfort she remained in good spirits. I think she has happy baby syndrome.

Sincere thanks to all you blippers who responded so generously to my three year anniversary blip yesterday. Your kindness is truly heart-warming.

Less than 1.5 hours until the stroke of midnight (here that is) when we will bid farewell to 2022 and welcome 2023. While it's an arbitrary division of time, it still has symbolic value for many of us for hope and renewal.
