Checking Up

Once I'd finished my weekend class in the building pictured above, Lucy and I took Noname to the vet's for a checkup and a couple of vaccinations.
Walking her through our neighbourhood was intereseting as so many people recognized her as the hardware store dog (how could you forget those ridiculous eyebrows) and were surprised to see a young couple strolling around with her.
We had her tested and she's thankfully heartworm and disease free, and the kindly vet gave us a huge discount on the treatment - basically just charging us cost.
The vet is a warm and gentle man, and when he asked us the name of the dog and we said the owner never gave it one, it's the first time I've ever seen him look angry.
We've got permission to walk Noname whenever we like, so hopefully I can make time can to take her running with me now and again, which the vet said would be helpful to her wellbeing.
