Falling a tad behind with my blipping, and apologies for yet another dog blip. I felt compelled to blip this though, as I finally solved the mystery of how the dog above suddenly appeared in place of this beautiful guy - which I talked about in this blip.
In a trend you may be starting to notice, it isn't happy news, and when I saw the recycling man today I took the opportunity to ask him why his old dog suddenly changed into a new one.
Turns out that perhaps just a day or two after I blipped the other dog, it was sadly crushed to death when large items of recycling fell of the man's always-overloaded truck as it pulled into the entrance where the dogs is tied up. I can only hope it was an instant death, and as the guy told me what had happened and that the dog was buried nearby he didn't seem in the least bit upset.
I also then watched with a shaking head as he got into his truck and began to drive off. The little dog above was lying in the shade by the front wheel, and had to scramble for his life.
Pretty flabergasting stuff.
