Little river? Not today!

Six thirty this morning and i opened the back door for Chloe. She took one step out, turned and came back in - soaked! MaggieD had to order her out, she really did not want to go and I can’t really blame her, it was so wet.
The deluge eased this afternoon so we took our canal bank stroll. The Bonny Water had burst its banks and was flooding the fields, giving the local ducks a lot of extra paddling room.
Lots of roads round about have been closed by the flooding and this has caused traffic chaos. Lots of hooting and tooting at the junction in front of our house. Patience, everyone!
