Got that sinking feeling?

Now maybe I am just a bit cynical and suspicious but as another of the little boats in the Kelpies basin turns submarine, I have to wonder what is going on? This is the third vessel to head for Davy Jones Locker in just a few months. I remember a comment I read a long time ago “Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence but three times is enemy action!”
On other matters, while along the canal, mid morning, we saw and felt the first little white flakes so took ourselves home without much delay. Just as well, today’s extra was taken shortly after our return and by lunch time we had a goodly couple of inches and even the main road was white with cars starting to slip and slither. It was a couple of hours later when a gritter rumbled past and by that time the snow had turned sleety and has now gone to rain.  Thank goodness!
