Taganana

A beautiful clear and sunny day, mostly calm but breezy at times.

Up early, and the hire car was delivered after breakfast.  Got out of the resort and headed along the motorway.  An hour or so later, we arrived in Santa Cruz, and a chance to stretch the legs.  We set the sat nav for Benijo, stopping in various places along the way.  More hairpin bends up mountains.  We arrived and had lunch, fresh prawns for me.  After a walkabout, headed back the same route, stopping at El Medano. Meeting up with friends, Ralph and Ruby tonight. 

Another day of twisting and turning roads that rewarded us with more stunning views. Looking over the mountains and coastline views, they really took your breath, no photo of mine can do it justice.  Also here was swarming with various lizards, too quick for me to snap.  Looking over Taganana, north Tenerife.
