A Massive Collection

A wet and windy start to the day - so I found myself stuck indoors and this morning I duly completed the Wasgij puzzle that I started on Wednesday. Less than 48 hours must be the shortest (or fastest?) time in which I have completed a 1000 piece puzzle!!

Anyway I dragged myself out for a walk after lunch - and I thought it might be nice to show this log that is covered in a fungus - or maybe several different ones. Compare this to the macro shot I posted the other day which was just a small part of this same colony on top of the log (not sure if colony is the correct term for a mass of fungus)!!
