Milestone in Staines

This milestone can be found in Staines (or "Staines Upon Thames", as it is now called). It's just outside my office and I walk past it every day. I don't know exactly how old it is - have tried to find some information on the internet, but haven't found anything about this particular one just yet. Do you know something about these stones?
