REGENT
Several times I have used the word humble to describe my feelings on comments from Blippers . . . YOU . . . special Blippers . . . Grand folk . . . and, in many cases, I can see your smile . . . yesterday you never stopped giving . . . Thank You seems a poor response . . . take care and keep smiling. I hope I did not miss any replies.
I will advertise at least two Blipmeets this year, one in Newcastle . . . not when NUFC are at home . . . and one in York. Watch this space.
Finally left Redcar today after a Grand Christmas Break . . . thanks to R&M . . . image shows a special site . . .
On this site, Coatham Pier existed 1875-1878. Originally planned to be 2000’ in length, a ship collided with it before completion and so the pier was shortened to 200’. When yet another ship collided with the structure in 1878 the end was nigh. Today, a new Regent Cinema opened this year, on the very site of the pier. Thankfully yet another example of Teesside Redevelopment . . . onwards and upwards . . . UTB . . . Up The Boro . . .
