Sleighing The Tenterden Town Tinsel

Today looked like it was going to be a good day weather wise (the forecast is not good for the next few days) so we decided to go on a micro trip to Tenterden. Whenever we go there we always visit The Vine Inn which is an atmospheric pub on the High Street. We've now also worked out the way to have a cheaper meal for lunch - buy two sides (today was chips and cheesy garlic bread) instead of a main course each as they are nearly always larger than you think they are going to be. So all in we had a pint each plus the ample sides for under £18, which is a bargain!
After partaking of our drinks and food we visited the heritage railway station again. It was all decked out for Christmas but being the 29th it had a deserted melancholy feel to it (which I rather like). The red structure in the main image is actually an outsized tinselled up sleigh which, along with the slatted green Christmas trees, made for a rather striking foreground to my shot.
The first extra shows the trains that run on this line (it's rare to see them stationary like this at the platforms themselves for any length of time) and the second extra is a detail of one of the beautifully restored carriages.
