Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Long Island 

Beautiful day, crisp and cold (about 4C) but with no wind and pretty pleasant in a sheltered sunny spot. The Arboretum included lots of pines and a holly walk, as well as a mansion house which was decorated for Christmas inside.

A potter and dinner in Sayville. Then headed back before going out to look at more houses festooned with festive lights.
