Lotsa Coffee Day

An early start to the day today in order to spend as much time with Jenny before she headed off to lunch at 1.15. So we met at The Loft for coffee, scones and cake at 10am and no idea where the 3 hours went. Last time we met was 2years ago this week so had a lot to catch up on!!

After a little retail therapy in White Stuff then picked up mum and headed off to The Tufted Duck at Rait where more coffee was drunk and another of the excellent egg mayo sarnie and chat with the waitress Poppy, who was surprised when I showed her the blip. She is a lovely girl and so is the owner -welcoming and good food!

Later Breagha and I were up the hill again and enjoyed magnificent views. Looking over this majestic scenery makes you proud too livein such a beautiful part of the country, but still easy access to the big cities if the need arises (not that often)!!
