More wild weather

All night the rain fell and the wind blew. Around 10:30 this morning the power went out. It is now 2:00 and it is still out. Our house is all electric, which is better for the environment but gosh a day like this you miss the gas fire places and cooktop. We do have a battery back up that is running the refrigerator and the downstairs pellet stove so for right now we are doing fine enjoying some knitting and reading time.
