Playa de las Américas

An overcast morning, but the sun broke out and a warm 27⁰c.  Fog hanging around the sea and hills, La Gomera vanished for the day.  

Up early, and headed down to the town after breakfast.  We've booked a hire car for Friday.  A walk along the beach front, stopping off for coffee, lunch and shopping.  An afternoon enjoying the sunshine.  Meal in the hotel tonight, and then a parrot show in the hotel bar entertainment area.  

A lovely afternoon down at the beach and sea, much needed after yesterday's rain.  The walkways were packed with busy tourists all heading the same way as us, nowhere but somewhere.  Look above the tropical palms, and you'll see the snow still on Mt Teide.  Taken at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife.
