Walking in a winter wonderland.
We awoke this morning to a slight scattering of snow but by the end of breakfast it was coming down quite heavy. So we decided to stay put and keep warm.
This afternoon MaggieD, Ali and Miss E went off to the pantomime in Stirling. We had previously ensured that the roads were safe to travel. Andrew and I took Chloe to her favourite place, Bannockburn. The parklands were still snow covered but by that time it was getting wet and claggy . There were a few other dog walkers about but I don’t think any of the dogs were as happy as usual. The snow stuck to Chloe’s ball and she didn’t like that either. However, it was a bit of exercise for us.
Still not much sign of the thaw the weather people were talking about!
Today’s extra is the big equestrian statue of King Robert decorated in snow.
