Boxing Day, A day late

I called the insurance company about our water problem, got a claim number, and now just have to wait for the adjuster to get in touch. 
The plumber came round this morning, checked things out and although he didn't have the necessaries with him to fix the water break, he was able to "doctor" things so that we do have a water supply, enough to make a cuppa, wash a dish or rwo, and even take a shower although the water pressure is just a trickle.
He's coming back tomorrow to do the job.Here's hoping it's an easy one for him.
Yesterday, we were in no mood for cooking turkey, luckily, and so very kindly, the next door neighbour invited us to eat with them. 
So we did.
Today, was to cook ours.
So we did,
And, we got a 70% off base fares email from Swoop so we took advantage of that to book our return leg from Puerto Vallarta in April.
I'll count that as a win.


Ah well...
