A bracing walk along the beach

It was lovely and sunny this morning so (after checking the tide times) off we went to Portobello so that we could have a bracing walk along the beach. …...............And very bracing it was too!!

It was absolutely freezing. Ann was wearing her padded trousers and padded coat and she was still very cold. I was OK because I was doing lots of running after my orange bouncy ball. In fact I got so hot and tired that I had to keep having lots of little flop downs on the beach and in rock pools.

We parked at Portobello and then walked all the way along the beach to Seafield and then along the beach to Joppa and back to Porty. That was almost 5 miles and took us almost 2 hrs so that was a nice long sunny walk for me.

Our weather app told us it was going to snow at 2pm this afternoon and for once it was correct (see extras) so it was just as well that I had my big walk this morning. It snowed really heavily for about half an hour and then it stopped. However, I've just been out for a little trek around. It's still really cold and the pavements are very icy, so, if you're in Edinburgh, take care out there peeps.

….............And that's been our Boxing Day. My human has caught up with all the Christmas Day TV that she wanted to watch. We're not going out again until it's time for my bedtime wee, so this evening is going to be all about prepping a few food items, ie, boiling some eggs lol, as we have friends coming for lunch tomorrow here's hoping our online Asda delivery which is due 10-11am tomorrow will have all the fresh items that we've ordered and then we're going to sit in front of the TV all night and eat up all the 'party food' that was left over from Christmas Eve. Well................. that's what my human is going to do. …........Apparently I had enough human Christmas dinner food yesterday to last me a lifetime??!!  Ann's just glad that I've not been sick or had problems at the other end today. Lol!!!

Happy Boxing Day Blippers. xxxx
