Christmas across the pond

This was sent to our family Whatsapp group from nephew living in California.  I didn't take any pictures today as was hosting Christmas for 12.  I was exhausted but OH was really helpful and we did it together.
Family including SIL and BIL and children and MIL and extra Nana (with dementia) so it was a full on day but the food went well and everyone had fun.  The stealy santa was a particular success and we had lots of laughs with everyone coveting the 'Chillies' water bottle.  No.1 was tired and quiet and reflective but stayed the course, just having a short nap in the afternoon.

Successful day - although I would still rather be on a beach somewhere one Christmas.
