Herringfleet Drainage Mill

This must be one of the most photographed wind pumps on the Broads and very popular with landscape photographers. In fact it has become a bit of a photo cliche but they all still flock there! 

We were out for a Boxing Day walk from Summerleyton in glorious sunshine accompanied by a breezy chilly wind.  This was the last landmark on the route of about 9 miles.  I only had my Panasonic compact so a return visit will be required at dawn or dusk to capture the mill in all its glory.
