Live nativity

A lovely sunny day here but quite cold. This morning we went to Astley Park and had a lovely walk then a coffee and toasted teacake in the cafe. Came home and went out again for the live nativity on the field behind the church in the village. Breeda and I stayed on the path as the field was very muddy and we didn't want to slip so we didn't get close to the tableau of the stable. It was lovely and we sang the carols. It was so good to see so many families with young children there. We did get cold even though it was a short.
