Pinhole Bluebells
Pouring rain today gave me a good excuse to postpone the paving project to next weekend and take the dog up to our local bluebell woods. This looks quite pretty through the impressionist blur of a pinhole lens, but Alva woods are a right mess after a contractor brutally thinned them 4 years ago. I think the guy must have put in a really low quote to the Council, who own the wood, to win the job, but it was criminal the mess he left behind. I thought about kicking up a fuss at the time, but the damage is done now, and I mostly walk in Woodhill Woods higher up the hill and expertly managed by The Woodland Trust.
This photo was taken with a lensbaby pinhole lens and is a stitch of 7 images. You realise how filthy the sensor is when using an F192 aperture and have to clean 50 spots off all 7 images!
