Alloa

After dropping Corrie off at his saturday club I had 3 hours to kill and a bag full of creative camera kit. I couldn't get inspired though - combination of feeling under the weather and Alloa being a bit uninspiring, so I lurked around the shops, bought Mojo magasine and sat in a cafe.

Alloa isn't a photogenic town - a mishmash of dull architecture obliterating the impressive stuff, which is there if you look hard enough, but no real cohesion to the place. It's not the first time I've ventured in with a few hours to kill all camera-ed up and not pressed the shutter. I'll keep trying.

This shot of Corrie was taken at the recently built college which is a quality bit of architecture - all geometric lines, glass and brick .. quite distinct from the supermarket buildings surrounding it....
