Another friendly welcome

The highlight of the day was the trip to the butcher’s in the village to collect the the turkey crown and gammon that I ordered a few weeks back.

The afternoon was spent on the boring task of going through  files to find the out of date records for shredding. They are now done and in the non recycle bin for collection tomorrow. I don’t know why, once shredded paper cannot be recycled.

As we were leaving for the afternoon walk our male blackbird started tutting from the hedge. He has a call to indicate when he wants grapes. I didn’t expect him to sit and wait until I’d got my phone out of my pocket to take his picture. He got his grapes when we got back.
