Full on day

Back blipping again on 21/12 for Sunday 18/12.  Church this morning - icy outside - thankfully I have a pair of trainers with soles which grip pretty well.  This afternoon Corinthian & I were taken by AuntieP and B to see the restoration of St Paul's Church at Denholme which featured in Homes Under the Hammer and Historic Houses  Icy rain was coming down and even their gravel driveway was sheet ice.  Most of the work has been done by the couple themselves, and their labour of love has created a stunning home.  Well worth a visit and such a lovely friendly couple.  Pavements still very icy this evening, but had to venture out again as it was our carol service.  Not a huge congregation, but think we sang our choir pieces okay.  Tiring but enjoyable day.  For anyone who wants to see the restored church, so many couldn't get there that they are having another open day on 29 December from 2pm - 4pm.  Let them know on their FB page if you wish to go. :-)
