Haworth Nativity
Backblipped on Wednesday 21/12. Slowly catching up! Corinthian and I caught buses to Haworth to watch the annual Nativity parade which starts at the bottom of Main Street then slowly follows 2 donkeys (from Blackpool) and the band (from Golcar) up the hill with stops for carols and for "Joseph" to knock at doors to see if there is any room at the inn. It was bitterly cold (the narrator was wearing flip flops!!), but the large crowd was still enthusiastic. Nice to see Wilsden Walker and family at a cafe nearly at the top of the cobbles. The parade ended at the top of the hill at The Black Bull, where thankfully a stable was found around the back :-). A nice afternoon and not too long to wait for a bus home, and rounded off with a couple of drinks in our local.
