Treasure for Pleasure

What do you buy the man who has everything for a milestone birthday?? The answer in this case was a piece of custom made, silver jewellery by our dear (& talented friend) Bam.

Bam is also the drummer for the band 'the Dogs D'amour' (who have featured in a previous blip) and has known Mr A for years now.
I only met him in March, and was introduced to his amazing silver work via the merch stand at the Dogs gig. The seed was sown when Mr A commented in passing how much he would love a piece of Bam's silver.

Several emails and quite a bit of skulduggery later and this plectrum pendant was created. I'm so pleased with it; it's just perfect for him and I decided anyway that if he didn't like it, it was mine!!
It's been torture keeping it a secret, I couldn't wait to give it to him for his birthday, but the reaction I got was well worth the wait; he was over the moon! I love the fact it was made just for him, and no-one in the world has one.

It's my birthday next (hint hint), so I'm checking out Bam's latest creations.
