Burst Of Colour

Cold, wet, dark and yet amidst the winter gloom there are bursts of colour, the odd red flower on our walks and today this Daffodil. Standing alone in the middle of a triangle of green grass on our usual walk route it cannot but help to make you smile.

I was due to collect for the Epic Gigability charity at the Redruth home rugby match but that game, along with almost every game in Cornwall, was called off due to an iced up pitch. Instead I did a little housework and some shopping, not a lot, we try not to ever throw out food over Christmas, in fact not ever if we can help it.
