Goldies

I might get the Oscar for fastest lens change, which turned out to be totally unnecessary, as we were treated to about half an hour of these guys.

There were long golden beaches and clear sea, millions of lapwings and even a Belty calf, but it has to be this middling shot of the eagles at Northton, South Harris.

Harris in the morning, then an evening ferry from Leverburgh to Berneray and on to North Uist, where we were also treated to a short-eared owl within minutes. My bird education is coming on.

Don't click LARGE, it's a noisy mess.
