The Soup's Made
By 8am the chicken carcass had been peeled (breasts put in the freezer), boiled, bones & cartilage removed, veggies etc added and then it was all pressure boiled for a wee while ready for lunch.
By 11am a box had been made and some cleaning and maintenance done on the lathes and pictures taken of the ice on the pond.
It claims to be 14C .... but isn't ... and there is a lot of obvious melting in the pond ( a dozen shots over here ) but under the surface water there is still a good 3" of ice so it is quite strange seeing some of the plant life frozen, but not frozen and pond weed clearly visible moving about under 3" of ice topped off with an inch or so of water.
The soup tasted okay, but it is missing something and I can't work out what.
