26 miles plus to go.....!

My sister is somewhere in this queue, though much further back I later discovered! And the serious stuff hasn't even begun yet! She and six friends from Yeovil, and about 20,000 + others, will be walking through the night on the Walk the Walk moon walk marathon for breast cancer. We went to see them off at Battersea Power station though only those taking part were allowed through the gates, and they were in Group 5 which wasn't due to set off until 10pm!

It was an amazing sight and much to be admired. Just after I took this picture the rain simply bucketed down and there was quite a strong cold wind. SO different from last Saturday evening.

Keep going Vuddo Valerie! We're all cheering you on from our beds! And next year I will do it too!
