Busy happy mini Xmas day with the daughter, partner and grandson.
Coffee in PJs . Frosty farm walk with hilarious visit to the cheeky ice corner and skating about on the frozen pond. Dog loved the hole that the lads spent ages making .
Mike and Drake spent ages drilling ice of a bucket - both v happy with all the tools required . For a 5 1/2 year old he did very well under instruction from his grandad using a full sized pick axe !
Trip out to the stables , while yola and did the horses the lads spent their time getting solid ice out of a dustbin and then happily smashing it . I made them clear it up , they made a huge mess that wasn’t going to melt anytime soon !
Whizz back to the village for the Xmas Carol choir performance . We got to join in with sleigh bells because we had a ‘smally’ with us . Best was the 12 days of Xmas with actions .
Home for presents , Xmas dinner, crackers , mince pies, Stilton and port and I kept half an eye on ‘strictly ‘ while digesting that lot .
Late night chatting with Y and D. Laughed our socks off at the audio of the 12 days of Xmas read by Frank Kelly’s ( father jack in Father Ted) .
A grand day.
