Ducklings?

It’s warmed up today, especially this afternoon as we set off for a walk. We decided to walk along the new path which has recently been opened. It is wide, has a secure fence either side and is obviously being used by cattle to move them from loe location to another. On our return we spotted these birds near White Bridge. They look like ducklings to us, a good job they are nice and fluffy, I haven’t been able to ID the species although I know they are not sharp. We continued our walk along the sea front, over Jubilee field and back home, 5.5 miles and we were not cold and it wasn’t muddy, two bonuses. I picked the Strictly Winner tonight.
