Flower Arranging

I attended a Floral Arranging Class this morning at the Arboretum. Buckets-full of flowers were brought in from which we could choose our flowers. A darling young woman talked about the different flowers and then made a fantastic arrangement as a teaching example. Then we were to try. This is a small part of my arrangement which I think is beautiful. We had these big beautiful peonies to use. I am not thrilled with my arrangement, but what a joy to be surrounded by all these flowers and people having fun with them.

After the class my friend Kathy and I and our husbands went to Houlihans for lunch. Then we went to pick up my flower pots that I had planted on April 6. They have been kept in the greenhouse and have florished.

Now for a nice quiet evening at home.
