The Heart Of Paris

Diane and I spent today wondering through historic Paris. Visits to Norte-Dame, the Deportation Memorial, Left Bank Booksellers, the Shakespeare Book Store, St. Severin, Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie capped off a packed morning of sightseeing.

Crossing the Seine brought back memories of our last trip to Paris 6 years ago. That time, 6 couples from our condo in Minneapolis rented a barge and we sailed from Paris to Auxerre. Great food, wonderful wine and good friends made that one of the best trips ever. It seemed appropriate to blip a traditional picture of this beautiful river as it courses through Paris.
