Bleak Midwinter

The talk of the town today was that it’s got so cold the Tweed has started freezing over! Not something we’ve seen since 2010.
Brunch with the in-laws first thing and then once they’d headed back west, I set off to the Hydro for the first time this week to try and work off some calories. The pool was more Atlantic than Med (problems with the heating plant) but I had it to myself and the snowy views were amazing. Late lunch with Janet at No.56, helped her deliver cards and then home to relax by the fire.
